Home made Fender Style hybrid Tele/Stratocaster
TELEMASTER ... ?
(DIY from raw material)

I glue a 2 X 3 inchs hard maple in the middle of two 2 X 5
inchs limewood wings.
The limewood is almost light as balsa but a bit harder.
This guitar will be very light, I hope in the 5 to 6 pounds range.
On both sides of the slab (now finish at
1.625 inchs,
I glue a bookmatch curly maple
veener
Funny looking Telecaster ... with a Stratocaster bass side
horn ... :-)
Neck and middle pickups will be Strat pickups,
while the bridge will be a P-Tele made by
LAUZON
PICKUPS
and some Callaham hardware
Neck will be build with a separate
fretboard (slice from the same piece of wood)
to permit the insertion of two carbon fiber bars for stability and no trus rod
Both guitars need a "paint" job, but summer is comming ...
